Lidl UK propose to develop the former Moorland Motors site into a neighbourhood foodstore - the site fronts Garstang Road East and is bordered to the south by Furness Drive.

We will soon be submitting a planning application to Wyre Council, which will outline our proposals to transform the site into a modern, attractive development. This store will not only bring Lidl’s popular range of quality products at discount prices, but also significant new employment opportunities to the area.

This development will regenerate what is currently an empty site and bring a modern, bespoke development to the area. A Lidl store will also help to significantly improve the retail offering in the town as well as provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment, together with ample parking. All of our stores are built to be very energy efficient and have a minimal carbon footprint.

We are designing our store to ensure that our building is not out of scale with the local properties, and to ensure we do not adversely affect our neighbours.
