Lidl is preparing a planning application for submission to West Oxfordshire District Council on 31 August 2018, for a new foodstore to be located on land at New Close Lane, Witney. This will replace the existing store at Ducklington Lane, Witney, to provide a larger and more modern foodstore for the residents of Witney and Ducklington. Determination of the application is expected during December 2018.

We are delighted to be in a position to commence consultation with the local community on Lidl’s proposed plans.

Our proposal is to construct a new Lidl foodstore with a gross floorspace of 2,175 sqm, sales floorspace of 1,325 sqm and with 115 free car parking spaces. The store will be built to Lidl’s latest specification which promotes a modern building incorporating high quality materials and energy efficient building management systems. It will also incorporate the use of stone along its elevations fronting the car park and A415 roundabout to provide character.

You will be able to view all of the details of the proposal and the planning application plans on our website – www.witney.lidl.co.uk

We, the undersigned, fully support Lidl's planning application to develop a new foodstore at New Close Lane, Witney.
