The proposed development comprises the erection of a new neighbourhood foodstore together with associated car parking, servicing and landscaping. The proposed Lidl foodstore will enable the delivery of a new neighbourhood foodstore in line with the findings of the Lawrence Weston Retail Study 2013 and policy objectives in the emerging Lawrence Weston Neighbourhood Plan.

The foodstore will be located to the north of the site, with a dedicated delivery bay located to the east of the proposed store. The new foodstore will extend to 2,473 sq. m gross internal area, with a net sales area of 1,424 sq m. Vehicular access to the site will be from Stile Acres located to the south of the site.

The store will be supported by 101 car parking spaces, including 5 disabled parking bays to the south of the store, 3 parent and child spaces to the west of the store adjacent to the store entrance, together with secure cycle and storage provision. A trolley bay is also located adjacent to the store entrance.

We, the undersigned, fully support Lidl's proposed application for a new neighbourhood foodstore at the former Lawrence Weston College, Lawrence Weston, Bristol.
