Lidl have acquired the adjoining warehouse building to the existing store at Foots Cray High Street, Foots Cray.
In due course we will be submitting a planning application to the London Borough of Bexley to demolish the existing Lidl foodstore and warehouse building to the rear and develop a modern foodstore (1,405m² sales area), with 102 associated customer car parking spaces and 5 new town houses with 7 car parking spaces.
Our proposal will drastically improve the visual amenity of this site and strengthen the commercial offer of Foots Cray's Neighbourhood Centre.
The development would provide new homes suitable for families and bring greater shopping choice to local residents and create up to 40 new local employment opportunities.
We, the undersigned, fully support Lidl's application for the provision of a new neighbourhood food store and 5 new town houses at Foots Cray High Street, Foots Cray in the London Borough of Bexley.
