Lidl wish to redevelop the Archdale 73' Club Site located on Windermere Drive in Blackpole, Worcester. We shall shortly be submitting an application for a discount foodstore with 1286 sqm sales area and 80 + car parking spaces, along with a new football pitch and clubhouse with associated car parking.
The site is currently occupied by the Archdale 73' Club, however the clubhouse building itself is in a dilapidated condition and in desperate need of redevelopment. The proposed development will enable a new clubhouse to be constructed, thus improving an amenity used by local community.
The site will provide a relocation for the Lidl store located opposite the site on the Blackpole Retail Park. The new store will be larger than the existing and therefore create new jobs.
We, the undersigned, fully support Lidl's application for the redevelopment of the Archdale 73' Club site, on Windermere Drive, Blackpole, Worcester.
