Today my fellow people of Alabama, I have taken up a movement to start an Alabama lottery.
This lottery would fund the general fund that pays education, law enforcement, fire & rescue, roads and bridges, disaster recovery, and we can get rid of the income tax, keep the sales tax.
What also must be a part of the bill is an audit of the department the funds are going to and an audit to make sure departments and agencies are using the money correctly.
We the People of Alabama call on the state of Alabama to act upon this request to provide a lottery.
This lottery would fund the general budget and put money into the Alabama economy.
