Support ACTUAL healthy care products

So many care products are getting ingredients put inside them that are either very toxic or unknown because nobody will test them. (if you ask me that doesn't seem like a very safe ingredient if its unknown.) Lotions for instance, if you really look at the back of your lotion, I can guarantee that most of you will have a ingredient that is a skin irritant. Ironic right?

My name is Chloe foster and in my chemistry class we were learning and looking at all of those ingredients on the back of your everyday care products and finding out what they really are and how "safe" they really are. What we found out is that a lot of things that say "NATURAL" or seem "safe", are really the opposite. Also, many of the current products out there that are supposedly toxic free, are very expensive. So through further discussion, we decided that we would try and start a petition of support for us to produce our own toxic free products that are affordable to young people.

We would then bring the petition to someone that could help us write a grant proposal so that my school (South Sr High) would be able to make our on soaps, lip balm, shampoos, etc. and sell them to not only the students, but to anyone. We could possibly see if we can put them in local stores and shops and sell them there and whatever store would allow us to, we would negotiate a percentage of the money that would go back to the shop.
