Traffic on Michigan Avenue is extremely busy at most hours of the day, and this has become a problem for many Trinity students.
The Trinity Square is located across the street from Trinity Washington University, and although it shares the same name of the school, students have a hard time getting across the street to the square.
Creating a crosswalk is an effective an easy to implement solution to fix the aforementioned problems, and will improve the safety of Trinity students.
We, the undersigned, would like the ANC 5C Commission to submit a request to The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) for a crosswalk from Cuvilly Drive to the Trinity Square. Trinity students as well as all residents will be safer with this addition to our street.
