For the past several years, there has been a recurring foul odor problem in the Sunset Gardens area of Wintersville Ohio.
Homeowners in this area have repeatedly complained to Village officials, yet the issue has not been corrected, or even addressed.
In 2006, approximately 50 residents complained to Village Administrator, Walt Ziemba, during two separate public meetings.
Unfortunately, the only thing offered at those meetings were excuses and fingerpointing, but no suggestions for corrective action.
We, the undersigned, call on the Administrator, Mayor, and Council Members of the Village of Wintersville, Ohio to establish and carry out a strategy for identification and elimination of the cause of the odor problem in Sunset Gardens.
