Summerwood Community: Reduce Community Speed Limit to 25MPH

Due to excessive speeding, running of stop signs and other moving violations occurring on the streets of Summerwood, the HOA Board is putting forth this petition that we plan to present to the town of Mint Hill to lower the neighborhood speed limit from 35 mph to 25 mph. The intent is to reduce the speed of the cars in the neighborhood to mitigate some of the risk of an accident taking place in our community.
In order to accomplish this, the Town of Mint Hill requires a petition showing that at least 75% of the properties within the community agree with the proposed change to the speed limit.
Please help us make changes that will keep our residents safe and sign the petition.
