With almost zero police presence and reinforcement in our roads, the bad behaviour of many drivers remains unchallenged and out of control. Our roads are governed by the law of the jungle and this is absolutely intolerable. Action can save lives. Disciplined driving and respect for laws will ensure our safety and alleviate the level of frustration associated with our roads. You have the power to push the authorities into action. Let us act now.
We, the undersigned call the Police Force to dramatically increase their role in the enforcement of traffic laws by actively patrolling our roads. We also call the Maltese Government to impose harsher penalties to traffic law transgressors and provide the necessary resources needed by the Police Force in order to effectively execute their duty. Transport Malta should aggressively campaign against bad driving.
