Stop urine testing in the workplace

I’m not against drug testing in the work place, just the manner in which it is currently done.
It is widely known that Urine testing is not an accurate measure of what substances or the levels that are in that persons system at the time.
But rather it will pick up on usage up to 3 months prior, this takes into account a persons personal time/life.
And this is unjust..
what this means is that if a person uses cannabis for medical or recreational purposes, in there own time they are persecuted,
even if they are not intoxicated or have no cognitive impairment At the time of commencing work or being tested.
There are more accurate ways of testing the relevant toxicity of how much thc is in a persons system on the day.,
Such as saliva testing..
Now due to our current legal and medical system, there are thousands of people In this country that like myself require medicinal canabaniods for chronic pain or other ailments just so we can function day to day.
And the pharmaceutical alternatives either have to many side effects, or simply don’t work.
Yet we are forced to source alternative medicines for ourselves as our country is yet to catch up to the rest of the world in this area.
What this has created Inturn is a situation where thousands of people across the country either risk persecution or worse still possible jail Time just to go to work,
or we have the option of fighting to go onto a pension.
Which let’s face it, you can’t survive on due to cost of living, and it can take a persons self worth away, when they feel there left with no other option.
This isn’t fair and this needs to change..
There are thousands of people in this country that want to work, but can’t because of the current testing procedures used by most work places.
This has gone on long enough and needs to change.
