This is from the BBC News;
"A Scottish university is battling a tobacco giant's attempt to gain access to its research into the smoking habits of thousands of teenagers.
Philip Morris International (PMI), which makes Marlboro cigarettes, has submitted Freedom of Information (FoI) requests to Stirling University.
The research examines why the teenagers start smoking and what they think of tobacco marketing."
Do we really want to give information to a Tobacco company about how to market cigarettes to children.
We the undersigned call on Philip Morris International to stop all attempts at getting information regarding University research about why teenagers start smoking and what they think of tobacco marketing. Tobacco should not be targeted at teenagers.
Tobacco advertising aimed at teenagers is immoral and therefore any attempt to gain access to this information is immoral.
The Stop Tobacco Giant from Getting University Research petition to Philip Morris International was written by Globalidentity and is in the category Youth at GoPetition.
