During the first week of March, our board of directors will be holding meetings to discuss a proposed assessment increase for all property owners. The assessments will raise to $960 a year + a special assessment fee of $20 a month ($240/year). We will be paying $1200 in assessments starting this year if it happens. Who is to say this will not happen every year.
Our board has made poor business decisions and now we are all to pay for it. It is time to tell them to take cost cutting measures, rather than charge the property owners more and take out more loans. (Yes, they are also going to discuss another 1,250,000 loan). Treasure lake is going to be bankrupt in no time, and one of our directors finds it funny, saying at a meeting that if we go bankrupt sandy township will be forced to take us over.
FYI- did you know our Lakeview lodge loses $1.75 for every $1 it brings in. Time to cut some costs.
We are asking the Treasure lake Board of Directors to start considering what the property owners want. We are opposed to the raise in assessments.
We would like the results of the property owner surveys, as well as the Garnett Fleming study released.
We are tired of not being consulted on decisions regarding our lives and are here to show that the majority of property owners do not agree with you.
