- Governor John Kasich
- United States of America
There are reports of the Ohio State Highway Patrol entrapping citizens coming home a from their own community festival. Many small community festivals in the state of Ohio depend on their annual revenue from it's citizens to continue annually. The OSHP's presents at these festivals and events will deteriorate their revenue in the way of intimidation from the OSHP.
For those of you that are not happy with the presence of the Ohio State Highway Patrol at their community festivals or events. Below is the address and phone number of Governor John R. Kasich. This is an election year for him and he is responsible for the OSHP much like your mayor is responsible for your police department. Let him know what you think about their preying on your community during a community festival that your community is more then qualified to patrol themselves.

We, the undersigned, call for Governor John Kasich to eliminate the patrolling of local festivals and community events with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Our local law enforcement agencies and County Sheriff Departments are more then capable of doing this job without the presence of the OSHP.
If our community is in need of the OSHP we will be in contact with the OSHP.
The Stop the Ohio State Highway Patrol from patroling community festivals petition to Governor John Kasich was written by scott bigham and is in the category Law & Order at GoPetition.
