The petition is now closed as I am hopeful of an amicable solution for the future.
Eldoret Club has embarked on felling over 130 blue gum trees. The destruction of these magnificent trees, which are decades old, will cause irreversible damage to the environment and the habitat of diverse bird species.
As can be see on Google maps, this is the only remaining cluster maining cluster of blue gum trees in the area. This initial felling of trees needs to be stopped before the Club systematically destroys all the trees.

We, the undersigned, call on Eldoret Club to immediately cease the felling of the decades old blue gum trees which will cause irreversible damage to the environment and the habitat of diverse bird species.
