Communities House has been open for the past 10 years, helping those to learn basic skills in Maths, English and IT, and helping those with job opportunities and with social interactions.
The photography group has worked on 4 projects, which has been to the communities benefit, through the existence of the Cyberzone.
Without this essential resource, part of the social structure of Brition Ferry (and the surrounding areas) is at risk of further deprivation.
The Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council currently manage the Communities First Programme in Briton Ferry, which is funded by the Welsh Government.
We, the undersigned, call on the Welsh Government to extend funding for the lease of the Cyberzone for the community, so it can be used for those who rely on this facility to the benefit of local and wider community.
The Stop the Imminent Closure of Communities House Cyberzone petition to Welsh Government was written by Briton Ferry Photoshop Club and is in the category City & Town Planning at GoPetition.
