Comparing Oil Prices over the years http://www.nyse.tv/crude-oil-price-history.htm with exchange rates over the same period http://www.oanda.com/currency/historical-rates shows that oil companies are not telling the full story as to why prices at the pumps are so high.
We are asking the government to look into constantly rising fuel prices. The prices at the pumps do not reflect global oil prices or exchange rates as the major oil companies keep telling us.
Fuel prices in the USA and other countries follow oil price fluctuations more closely than in the the UK and Europe. In the UK and Europe, when the oil price goes up, prices at the pump go up. When the oil price drops, prices at the pump go up. Why?
Does the government care about the motorist? Are we paying for their Green policies? We want a fair deal.
