Stagecoach South West recently announced a reduced 1/1A/1B bus service effective from 2nd April 2012 the old and the new timetables can be viewed at

And also journey times to and from Exeter have increased as all buses now go via the narrow roads of Bradninch.

Pressure on Stagecoach is starting to have a positive effect and it looks as if the loss of the service covering the Old Tiverton and Langland roads in Cullompton will be reversed and and the alternative route using Colebrook Lane and Forcefield Road will not be adopted following pressure from residents. But currently the other proposed changes still stand so keep signing the petition please.
We the undersigned passengers of the Culm Valley connect bus service (1, 1A, 1B) buses deplore the changes and cuts to the service to be implemented on 2nd April 2012 and ask Stagecoach South West to reconsider them. This particularly affects people commuting to work and students going to school/college.
We particularly deplore:-
• the loss of the direct service to Exeter with all buses going via Bradninch;
• the extra time added to journey times between Exeter and Cullompton,
• the six double decker buses an hour trying to go through the narrow and steep roads of Bradninch which neither us or the residents of Bradninch want;
• the loss of the service running down Langlands road in Cullompton.
