- Marriott Hotel International and Guyana's Parliament
The Guyana Marriott Hotel is being built by a Chinese construction firm, awarded by the Government of Guyana. The construction firm has stipulated in their contract that only Chinese must be hired to construct the hotel, to date, no locals have been hired.
This is in the face of a US$60M being paid by taxpayers to build a hotel that's not needed in Guyana, whilst the former president (Bharat Jagdeo) and his close friends are set to benefit from this deal.
Let's stop the construction of the controversial Marriott Hotel in Guyana, which is being built by taxpayers' dollars, and no Guyanese are allowed to work.
The Donald Ramotar's administration needs to stop disrespecting Guyanese.
Together we can correct the wrongs perpetuated by the PPP regime.
The Stop the construction of Marriott Hotel in Guyana petition to Marriott Hotel International and Guyana's Parliament was written by Mark Anthony Benschop and is in the category Human Rights at GoPetition.
