As per our letter to community leaders, the proposed 92-unit apartment complex development in Cap Bimet should not proceed for the following reasons:

-the structure is inside the 30m wetland buffer
-the existing road infrastructure cannot accommodate additional traffic nor the proposed construction traffic
-the climate change predictions show that this area is at severe risk of flooding and leaving residents stranded
-there would be significant risk to the endangered bank swallows that are re-establishing their colonies
-excavation activities may disturb buried hazardous waste from the old fish plant that could contaminate local wells and nearby waterways

We, the undersigned, oppose the development of an apartment complex in Cap-Bimet for the reasons noted above.
