We are having speeding issues in our neighborhood that have resulted in property damage and close encounters with children.
We, the small community of 19th Terrace and Harris Ave. in Independence, Mo. would like to address our serious speeding issues. We know that residential speed limits are 25 miles per hour.
We would like to enforce those laws with signs and reduce the speed limit to 15 miles per hour at our dangerous intersection of 19th Terr. and Harris Ave.
We feel that if we have sign posted people are more likely to abide by the laws.
