Lately, I've been seeing videos of Police Officers taking extreme and unnecessary action(s) towards people of color. They have body cameras which they turn off in order to violently beat a person. Such videos surface the internet and it's not even from the direct source, it is from a person who caught the action on security footage. This is all outrageous and maddening! Police officers are not supposed to be our enemies, they are supposed to "protect and serve" right?
This petition is meant to bring awareness to this issue and to ultimately set laws/ Acts that would restrict actions that police officers can take and penalize those who commit the real crime and kill/hurt innocent human beings. By signing, you agree that Police Officers need better training and other ways in which they can detain a person rather than pulling out a gun and risk ending another innocent life yet again. Something has to be done, police officers should be penalized for their actions, Police brutality needs to come to an end. It is disgusting and shameful knowing that the people that are supposed to help, are only harming,
