Too many of our teens dying behind the wheel, we as parents want some action to be taken... e.g.. raising the learners driving age to 18, parent s to be criminally charged for allowing or purchasing high powered vehicles to be driven by teens.. installation of engine/speed immobilizers for speeding teens... You are not classified as an adult till the age of 18, so why are kids allowed to kill themselves and others???
We, the undersigned parents and concerned, call on the Australian Government and Roads and Traffic Authority to raise the learner driving age in all states to 18 years of age.
Also, bring in tougher laws for parents, car dealerships, private sellers allowing / helping the purchase of high powered vehicles for their teens.
