Noisy motor scooters & tricycles are allowed to disturb the peace on a daily basis in and around Puerto Galera, most often at night in Barangay Palangan and Barangay Sabang. This causes anxiety and discomfort for visiting tourists and is very bad for tourism to Puerto Galera.
We, the undersigned, as a collective group of concerned stakeholders and residents in the area, call upon the local government unit to reduce the noise pollution levels caused by noisy motor scooters and tricycles by banning noisy exhaust pipes in these tourist focused barangays.
