Recently Marvel movies have had an increase in meme/modern pop culture references that seem completely pointless in the franchise. An example of this is fortnite being featured in Avengers: Endgame, a film which also featured the character Hulk dabbing. This is completely irrelevant to the plot and seems to be added for comedy value but everyone I have asked does not find it funny. This needs to stop, as it is putting many people off the franchise.
