This is a petition for Lateshia Townes who was brutally murdered. Lateshia Townes was brutally murdered at the age of 31, in Newark, NJ on South 20th street on May 31st. She was shot in the head with an AR15 military gun while sitting in her car. Where in GOD'S name did this gun come from, how did it get in our community?
The cops arrived shortly after the shooting and did not contact the family until three hours later stating "they only found out where she lived after running her plates on her car". That’s weird because the person with her that night knows her mom and where she lived. The cops arrived literally after the trigger was pulled and the person with Teshia was still on the scene when the cops arrived.
Law Enforcement has leads that can lead to an arrest, yet this killer is not arrested. Teshia has a 12 year old daughter who will never get to see her ever again... because she was Sentenced to spend the rest of her Life in a Grave, while her killers are free today to live life as if they did nothing wrong.
I beg of anyone who might have any information about this crime today, to please come forward to authorities and speak up to what you know to be the truth. There is a $10,000 reward.
My daughter deserves Justice for her God given right to Life being taken away by this killer.
I also beg the detectives, investigators, Prosecuting District Attorney, to please continue the search for the truth and hold accountable these people who took my child's life. Please don't ever give up and find the evidence you need to bring forth Justice 4 Teshia today.

We, the undersigned, call on all family, friends, general public and all Law Enforcement agents in the City Of Newark and World Wide to join in support for Justice for Teshia.
The Family hereby demands answers and a continued open line of frequent communication with the detectives and status updates on the investigation for my daughter's Murder.
Every signature obtained in this Petition for Justice, as just one Concerned Citizen, deserves to know that everything that can be done is being done to get these Murderers off our streets today before they harm another Loved One, and that Justice for Teshia’s Murder is being sought by the proper Authorities.
Lateshia was shot on May 31st 2014 witha AR15 military rifle and passed away June 2nd 2014. It has been a little over a month now and no arrest has been made. The Family and Public wants this case solved and these killers off the street and behind bars where they all belong...
Teshia did not kill herself and the person or persons rsponsible need to be punished for her death. In closing, I must ask you, if this was your child, what would you do?
