Students have been detained and torture has been denounced by their legal counsel.
Cuban fusileers have been reported on Venezuelan soil, increasing the risk to the protesters.
We, the undersigned, call upon the UN to exercise its faculties to stop Venezuelan government violence against protesters and to monitor the activity of Cuban fusileers or other foreign soldiers on Venezuelan soil.
