Vendors should not have the right to refuse payment of services because of the denomination of currency one chooses to pay by.
In Canada and the US the discretion to accept denomination of currency is given to the clerk of the operation. As many are aware of this is very predominant in the acceptance of 50 or 100 dollar bills.
I find that this practice is discriminatory and unethical. The moment we are refused service based on our form of payment we are being judged as a criminal.
The problem is one that should be addressed by the treasury department and the National Government at large not the unsuspecting public.
