Thank you so very much for your help in getting the word out and for signing the petition to keep apartments out of our neighborhood. Come to the meeting tonight it possible and sign a card NO APARTMENTS. The meeting is at 7:00 in City Hall.

Mansfield is fortunate to be a desirable place to live with many areas ripe for development. The long-awaited Shops at Broad project slated for the NE corner of Broad St. & 287 has been resuscitated by Geyer Morris Company. The Shops at Broad is an exciting development. This particular proposal includes a mixed-use development including retail, a StarCenter, and a 4-story apartment complex with 330 units.
Bringing more apartments to the City of Mansfield will weigh heavily on our schools, neighborhoods and property values. This petition is to stop the zoning change that will allow the apartments at this site. NOTE that the current plan does not include development of the parcel closest to Cannon Dr. If the zoning change is passed, the potential for even MORE apartments is quite possible.
