The amount of domestic violence has become so bad in this state it's not funny. Any where from control your partner to stalking, beating and shooting the partner.
Proving these offences can be hard to do depending on the circumstance. A lot of vitcims are afraid to speak about what is going on. I had this problem 10 years ago. I had to get a restraining order that did not go well.
A sweet young woman was shot and died right before Christmas. Her child was in the back seat of the vehicle. I know women who have had guns held to thier head and shoved through windows and had to sleep outside in temperatures below zero.
We, the undersigned, are fighting to get stonger penalties for abusers.
Hopefully this will help stop them from hurting or killing other people.
