A lot of smash players are fans of minecraft, and from inside their hearts they want Steve, the minecraft character to be inside the smash universe, Smash fanbase want him to be inside the game, and will be thankful for having him on the game.
Steve could seem to be a non worth it character, but he could be a powerful character if they know how to manage his movements.
Minecraft fanbase can be more introduced into Smash if Steve is inside the game because he will bring all the minecraft players to play smash.
