State Song for New Jersey

New Jersey is a great state that has done a great deal to where we are as a country now. New Jersey was the state that host the most battles during the revolutionary war including the decisive battle of Trenton. With such a great history why does New Jersey rank the 7th worst in state pride. An official state song for New Jersey will help us take more pride in our great State. As a state we tried in 1939, 1956, and 1972 to confirm a state song. we propose to finally confirm "I'm From New Jersey" as the state song. It made it through the legislative in 1972 but than was vetoed by the governor. By passing this it would make us the last state to confirm a state song. Many other states have more than one while we still have zero. It’s time to call on the congress and the governor to pass it. This would finally end the struggle for a state song.
