This petition requests a UK broadcaster to show Star Trek the original series in High Definition. It has already been remastered to look brand new, but this new version is only broadcast in standard definition.
Star Trek fired my imagination as a child, and I believe Star Trek still has some important messages to share with the viewing public.
I will contact all the major media companies to inform them of this petition if you would be so kind as to sign it.
We the undersigned ask that a UK broadcaster show the remastered High Definition version of Star Trek the original series in the HD format so that audiences can once again enjoy the vision of Gene Roddenberry the creator of Star Trek and marvel at the actions of Captain Kirk and his crew on the Starship Enterprise.
This High Definition version of the series has never been broadcast in that format in the UK to date.
