In the village where I live Aghagower cars drive too fast. My house is situated on a road that should have a speed of 50km/h but drivers insist that it's okay to go over 50 for example they could go 70km/h down the road.
In this village we have lots of facilities that young and old use for example a handball alley, green area, shop, playschool and community centre. These areas are places where young people play and go.
One day there is going to be an accident where a young child will run out from the shop or one-off the areas mentioned above and they will be flung 50 feet into the air because of the speed of the cars. Also just last week our family dog Sandy got killed because of speed and the person just left the dog on the side of the road to die.
Please sign this petition to make sure we slower the speed limit in Aghagower village and to put a few speed ramps in place.
