The portion of Fish Hatchery Road, St. Tammany Parish, which has recently been improved from gravel to hard surface road, and center striping, from La. Hwy 1088 to 65206 Fish Hatchery.
The unoccupied rural road has a pre-improvement speed limit of 25 MPH. Most of Fish Hatchery Road has a 40 MPH posting. This portion of the road is in need of a posting of the same 40 MPH limit.
We, the undersigned, call upon the St. Tammany Parish Council to change the speed limit on the improved section of Fish Hatchery Road from the gravel road speed limit of 25 MPH to the hard surface improvement of 40 MPH, matching the posted limit for the majority of Fish Hatchery Road.
