I live on the corner of Melville Road and Coronation Road in Plumstead. I am sick and tired of the speedsters who seem to think that Melville Road can be turned into a race track whenever they feel like it.
There is a nursery school in this road and there are no speed bumps or stop streets along this stretch at all. There have been several animals that have been knocked over and killed already.
I have contacted the Ward Councillor in the area, but she is not interested at all in even investigating my request. I am now trying any other avenue to get this matter investigated and rectified.
We, the undersigned, residents of Melville Road in Plumstead, Cape Town call on the road authorities to investigate our request and come up with a suitable solution.
