REQUEST FOR SPEED BUMPS ON Melville Ave., Toronto
This is a petition to add speed bumps on Melville.
This street is often used by cars, taxis and delivery vehicles to avoid traffic on Dupont St. between Shaw Ave. and Christie St..
As many of us have seen, many drivers drive quickly down the street., and not taking responsiblity to slow down in this family oriented neighborhood.
We believe speeds bumps would deter these type of drivers without compromising the ability of emergency vehicles to access the street, or the number of parking spots.
WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, ARE CONCERNED FOR THE SAFETY OF THE RESIDENTS, MOSTLY CHILDREN, IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD.
WE ARE REQUESTING THE INSTALLATION OF SPEED BUMPS ON MELVILLE AVE. BETWEEN SHAW AVE. AND CHRISTIE ST.
