It is the sign of an uncivilised society, a SMALL MINDED NOT BIG SOCIETY when a Prime Minister with three small children thinks it is acceptable to close libraries, a safe, free environment open to all sectors of the community. We must unite in making sure David Cameron is shamed by his policy and keeps the libraries open, in all areas.
It's 2011 and the libraries in the United Kingdom are threatened with closure. Some will survive as they are flagship centres of scholarship, but most under threat are the small, community libraries helping children with homework clubs and access to computers from poorer households, job clubs and help for the elderly.
