The teenagers of Monroe Oregon live in a small town, There isn't a whole lot to do in Monroe. Lot mof the children get into drugs and alcohol at a very young age. I believe that if the children had somewhere to hangout this problem would become less of a problem.
I have asked my peers what they would want and a majority of them said a park or a skatepark for them to hangout at. I asked the local businesses and they said that they would like a place for the children to be so that they don't hang out infront of the local buisnesses anymore.
I feel a Skatepark would a a good place for the teenagers to hang and stay out of trouble.
We, the teenagers of Monroe, ask the City Council to consider building a skatepark for us to hangout at.
