Alan Titchmarsh should be knighted for services to Horticulture. His "How To Be A Gardener" series showed people with no experience how to grow everything, including their own vegetables.
He's funny and clever, and deserves a knighthood. If Alex Ferguson can have one, why can't Alan?!
