Our children need a shelter and covered walkway at the entrance to Shallotte Middle School to protect them from the environment.
It's a health issue that our children have to stand/walk in the pouring rain/wind...as well as inconvenient for everyone involved.
The principal of Shallotte Middle School has tried to have this issue resolved in the past with no success. As a community, we may be able to do something!
We, the undersigned, request the Brunswick County Board of Education to provide a covered walkway and shelter for the front entrance to Shallotte Middle School.
