It has come to light that the Official Languages Committee has nothing better to do in governing Canada to question Hockey Canada's choice of Shane Doan as captain.
In quoting The Globe and Mail "Opposition leaders on Parliament Hill have criticized Hockey Canada's choice of Mr. Doan in light of allegations that he used an anti-French slur to a French-Canadian NHL referee."
When the average Canadian citizen balances the above with other current events in Canada like the price of gasoline, lack of funding for the military, AD-gate, gun registry billions, crime, poverty, employment and other issues that effect all Canadians, the MP's on the Official Languages Committee are wasting taxpayers time at the expensive of grandstanding for votes and the media.
We, the undersigned, call on the unspoken majority of MP's in the House of Parliament to speak up in the House to move the member MP's of the Official Languages Committee and those MP's supporting the "Explanation of decision to name Shane Doan captain of Team Canada at the World Championships" to get back to the business of governing our great country Canada.
