A family court made a ruling that i have no contact with my 13yr old son or any care of him.
When i ask for shared custody and contact he also though the childs independent lawyer said he want contact with me .
So to kick me why i am down the child support sends me a letter states that because i have no % care or my son and my ex has 100% care that i am to pay the highest amount of child support.
I agree i should pay child support but when my and my childs rights are denied and the family court a government body makes a decision to say i have no care at all why then should i pay the highest bracket of support . I believe that seen a government body made that decision that they should pay some of the child support not kick me while i am already down.
Then maybe if the government has to wear some of the cost the family courts may just make fairer care order's. I have spoken to all parties of government on this issue and they just plam me off as they know the system is so outdated and wrong no one want to fix it. Our childen are all suffering as torn family across Australia go through this process.
Look into why if the family court has made a ruling that a one of a childs parents are not allowed any contact or care of a child, that why then should the said parent be penalised by child support and made pay the highest amount of child support.
When it's not there or the childs decision to have no care when they wish to have shared care and the child wishes to spend time with the parent, if the family court makes a ruling like this the Government should pay some of the cost of the child support as it's a government representative that made a decision not to allow the parent any percentage of care. The system is outdated and unfair and need a major overhaul.
