We want the park to remain the natural wonder it already is for now and for the future. People love this place: the flora, the fauna, the wildlife, and the beautiful scenery.

We the people of Richmond have endured the visually offensive and disruptive steel pilings, located at the southwest edge of Garry Point Park, for over 5 years.
The bottom line is that the pilings were put in without any consultation with the public and we want them gone with no further development.
“Fraser River Pile & Dredge (GP) Inc has offered to remove the pilings at no cost to the city as long as they can re-purpose the pilings for their use elsewhere” Captain Ray Martyniuk, Owner of Steveston Water Taxi and Westcoast Memorials at Sea
