Crime and discrimination is still the most prevalent issue here in America, i want to start a petition for one time convicted felons in the country and it does not matter if the individual's committed the crime or were duped by the system.
I would like for the President to consider those who have not been convicted of any other felonies for 15 consecutive years or more be giving a real second chance at employment and it does not matter with what area the employment, to have their records expunged and if they are crime free after 25 years to become eligible for having their record pardoned, and if they are subsequently convicted of any other felonies during their life span to have their old records reinstated on the books.
We as convicted felons whether or not the crime was committed want a second chance at true freedom especially employment.
We want to not only continue to be a productive citizen but to save those youth who are on the cusp of destruction.
