STATE HOUSE – The General Assembly passed and the governor signed legislation that will make the failure to wear seatbelts by adults a primary offense in Rhode Island.
This was done to create revenue. It causes more harm than good. It also give the police officer more of a reason to pull people over.
Take action and revoke the new primary seatbelt law for adults and change it back from primary to secondary.
