Warner's Paddock in Bingham (situated on Long Acre/Grantham Road) is one of the few remaining undeveloped greenfield sites in Bingham, Nottinghamshire.

This lovely spot is a haven for wildlife and is cherished by many people. The Paddock adds to the quality of life in our neighbourhood and is a fragile link to the fast disappearing rural character of Bingham.

The site has now been selected as one of three possible locations for the new Health Centre and there are indications that Bingham Town Council would also like to develop a Community Centre on the same site.

In addition to Warner's Paddock, two other sites are being considered - one site is off Mill Hill and the other is on land east of Tythby Road.

The site selected for the new development should be:

located on a site which is already developed/partially developed

suitable from a transport and access perspective

Warner's Paddock is wholly unsuitable on environmental and access considerations.

Built development of the site would destroy this special place forever.

We, the undersigned, call on Greater Nottingham LIFTCo, the Primary Care Trust, Bingham Town Council, Rushcliffe Borough Council and the Crown Estate, to reject plans to build on and develop Warner's Paddock so that it can be maintained as a greenfield site.
