Waterwatch, the watchdog for the water industry based in Alloa, is under threat after the Government passed the Public Services Reform Bill.
The Act shifts the regulation of water to Consumer Focus Scotland and the Scottish Public Services Ombudsmen, meaning this local company and its 14 workers now face redundancy. This is the wrong decision and should be stopped.
