Our community is dangerously close to losing vital services in our area.
Blacktown Council propose to REZONE AND SELL OFF the pretty little park area next to Walters Road shops AND the public seating area AND half of the car parks AND the actual space in front of the shops.
That means you the customer, won't be able to easily park at the shops and run in to get your dinner, medicine or winning lotto ticket!
That means the shops loose business and ultimately our community will loose a medical centre, chemist, newsagent, fast food place, butcher, hardware and grocery store.
Not too mention it robs Blacktown of precious green space and we see more low density housing squished into too small an area.
We are petitioning Blacktown Council to stop the rezone and sale, please join us.
We the undersigned, call on Blacktown Council to stop the rezoning and sale of the park area and shop frontage of Walters Road Shops (Reserve 105).
